No. 12 Iowa State Holds Off No. 5 K-State 80-76

Jaren Holmes scored 18 of his 23 points in the second half as 12th ranked Iowa State held off number five Kansas State 80-76.

The Cyclones shot better than 62 percent in the second half to move to 6-2 in the Big 12.

That’s Cyclone Head Coach T.J. Otzelberger who says the ball movement was better in the second half.

The Cyclones outrebounded the Wildcats 28-20 and had 17 second chance points.

Gabe Kalscheur added 19 as the Cyclones improve to 11-0 at home.
