The 16th ranked Iowa Hawkeyes close out the regular season on Sunday with a visit to 23rd ranked Illinois.
The winner gets a double-bye into the quarterfinal round of next week’s Big Ten Tournament.
That’s Iowa coach Fran McCaffery. Luka Garza has scored 20 or more points in 15 straight Big Ten games but the offensive production of sophomore Joe Wieskamp and freshman C.J. Fredrick has dropped off in recent weeks.
McCaffery is confident the Hawkeyes will bounce back from a home loss to Purdue with a solid effort.
