Cedar Falls, Iowa (RI) – The McLeod Center in Cedar Falls hosts an in-state wrestling dual on Sunday afternoon when fourth-ranked UNI hosts 14th-rated Iowa State.
The Panthers are 12-1 in duals and coach Doug Schwab is hoping to set an attendance record against the Cyclones.
Schwab on what this series means to him.
The Cyclones have won the last five duals in the series. UNI will be in search of its first victory over the Cyclones since 2019.
The Cyclones are 10-4 and will open the weekend Friday night at 11th-ranked South Dakota State.
That’s ISU coach Kevin Dresser who expects an electric atmosphere in the McLeod Center.
Dresser says it will be a challenging weekend for the Cyclones.
