Cedar Falls, Iowa – When Northern Iowa football coach Todd Stepsis wants to see where he hopes to take the Panther program, all he has to do is turn on coverage of the FCS playoffs.
Missouri Valley powers North Dakota State, South Dakota State and South Dakota are three of the four teams that will compete in this weekend’s semifinals. Stepsis is trying to rebuild a UNI program that has not made the playoffs since 2021.
Stepsis says if the Panthers can be competitive in the Valley they will be competitive nationally.
