Cedar Falls, Iowa — Northern Iowa football coach Mark Farley says his biggest concern right now is where the Panthers will practice this week.
After opening with a loss to South Dakota State and Panthers get ready for Saturday’s game at Youngstown State.
With Saturday’s game being outdoors Farley would prefer to work in the elements.
Farley says Shawn Watson will continue as offensive coordinator after Ryan Mahaffey left to become an offensive assistant with the Green Bay Packers. News of Mahaffey’s departure broke prior to kickoff last Friday.
Farley is undecided on if he will hire a new coach in the middle of the season.
