Cedar Falls, Iowa – UNI men’s basketball coach Ben Jacobson says the goal is always a trip to the NCAA Tournamnent. As he enters his 19th season at the helm Jacobson has led the Panthers to the “Big Dance” four times, but they have not been there since since 2016.
Jacobson has led UNI to four Missouri Valley Regular season and four Valley tournament titles and says expectations are always high.
The Panthers return three starters from last season’s team that finished 19-14. They were picked to finish second in the Missouri Valley preseason poll.
The Panthers open on November fourth against the University of Dubuque.
