The Northern Iowa women take some much neded confidence into Friday night’s game at Illinois-Chicago. After a 1-9 start to the season the Panthers beat vansville and Indiana State at home last weekend and take a 2-1 Missouri Valley record on the road.
That’s UNI coach Tanya Warren. Illinois-Chicago is 1-2 in the Valley and 8-6 overall.
Warren says limiting turnovers is one of the keys to the game.
Warren says the Flames are good on defense and the Panthers will be forced to grind it out.
