Orange City, Iowa — Northwestern College football coach Matt McCarty is glad the Great Plains Athletic Conference decided to play football last fall.
The Red Raiders finished 8-1 and with a number seven ranking in the NAIA poll they are waiting to see who they play with the playoff pairings are released April 11th.
McCarty says they tried to treat winter like a normal offseason.
A playoff appearance would be the fourth straight for the program.
