Makenzie Fink and Lacey Wacker were named the NAIA Volleyball National Players of the Week at their respective positions as announced by the national office.
Fink hit a team-best .420 and averaged 4.0 kills per set in leading the Red Raiders to wins over Dakota Wesleyan, York and 13th-ranked Jamestown. The junior hit over .400 and put down double figure kills in wins over DWU and Jamestown, including a match-high 16 kills in handing the Jimmies their first conference loss of the season.
Wacker put up 13.4 assists per set and directed a Red Raider offense that hit .306 in three wins last week. Wacker totaled 63 assists, the second most of her career, in her team’s 3-1 win over DWU. The junior then lofted up 38 assists in the Red Raiders 3-0 sweep over Jamestown.
