NWC Men’s Golf Ranked 23rd In Final Poll

Northwestern College finished the season ranked 23rd in the NAIA Men’s Golf Coaches’ poll released by the national office Thursday.

The Red Raiders fell one spot from the last poll after placing second in the 72-hole GPAC Championship. They are one of three teams from the GPAC recognized in the final coaches poll; Morningside (21) and Midland (RV).

Coastal Georgia claimed 17 of the 19 possible first place votes and finishes the regular season with the No.1 ranking. Defending national champion Oklahoma City is second, earning one first place vote, followed by Keiser (Fla.), University of Northwestern Ohio and Texas Wesleyan.
