LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Northwestern College men’s golf team wrapped up the Paiute Battle from the Paiute Golf Resort in Las Vegas, Nev.
Northwestern posted a team best score of 319 on Monday on a very difficult course. The Raiders were led by the play of Kolby Newborg (Jr., Tea, S.D./Tea Area) who posted a score of 158 (76-82, +14). He shot the Raiders’ low round of the tournament of 76 (+4) also on Monday.Alex Snyder (Sr., Alta, Iowa/Alta-Aurelia) was the other Raider to shoot in the 70s on Monday with a 79 (+7).
Keiser University (Fla.) took home the team title in the two-round event with a team score of 583. Keiser’s Florian Benner took home the individual title with a 141 (-3).
