NWC Women’s Track Tabbed No. 24 In USTFCCCA Poll

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Northwestern College women’s indoor track and field team tabbed No. 24 in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced Wednesday.

Freshman Kennedy Kramer (Larchwood, Iowa/West Lyon) holds the third-best time in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) in the 400m entering this weekend. She ran an adjusted time of 56.82 (57.57) at the Dordt Indoor Open back on January 15, and has secured a spot in the NAIA Indoor Championships in the event.

Abigail Clarke (Jr., Waverly, Neb./Waverly) has notched a time of 1:37.60 (adjusted, 1:36.42) at the Mount Marty Invite the last time out on the track on January 29. The mark sits fourth-best in the NAIA this season, meeting the provisional mark for the Indoor Championships.

Morgan Marker (Sr., Rock Valley, Iowa/Rock Valley) has met the provisional mark in the 800m run in the first meet of the season on December 11 at the Concordia Early Bird meet in Seward, Neb. Her time of 2:19.80 (adjusted, 2:18.21) sits 12th in the nation.

The Raider 4x400m relay team’s 3:59.14 mark at the South Dakota State (SDSU) DII Invite on January 21, ranks 11th in the nation and has met the provisional mark for the NAIA Indoor Championships.
