Caleb Badura is one of the qualifiers for the 2019 NAIA Men’s Golf National Championship to be held at the Las Sendas Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz. on May 21-24.
Badura is one of six individuals to qualify for the 2019 Championship, joining Callum Blinkhorn (Lindsey Wilson), Sean Benson (Montana Tech), Tyler Pearson (Indiana East) and Robert Penalber (The Master’s). The sixth individual will be announced by the NAIA when the first round of pairings are released by the national office. Individuals who qualify must win his respective conference tournament or be an All-Tournament Team honoree from the previous year’s national championships that did not qualify otherwise.
The 2019 Championship field consists of 156 players from: 19 automatic qualifying teams, one host berth (Benedictine-Mesa), 10 at-large team bids and the six individuals. Oklahoma City is the defending champion and has won the most titles (11) in the field. Morningside is the lone team to qualify from the GPAC.
