(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men’s Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played Sept. 30-October 6, 2019. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2019-2020 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Women’s Defense – Liz Foster, Northwestern College (Goalkeeper)
Liz Foster of Northwestern is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Foster, a senior, from Washington, Illinois, posted a pair of shutouts in GPAC play last week. She had three saves and a clean sheet against Presentation and turned away Morningside six times in a 1-0 win.
