Sioux City, Iowa – One Northwestern College women’s basketball player has been named a Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week as announced by the GPAC Tuesday, December 17th.
Molly Schany of Northwestern College is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women’s basketball offensive player-of-the-week. Schany, a senior from Emmetsburg, Iowa, had another week of averaging a double-double. Last week she went for 20.5 points and 14.0 rebounds per contest in a pair of wins. On Wednesday, she had 21 points and 15 boards, picking up eight offensive rebounds. In Saturday’s home win, had her eighth double-double of the year with 20 points and 13 rebounds.
