Northwest Iowa — The preseason Iowa Girls High School Basketball rankings are out and going into the season there doesn’t seem to be a lot of interest in Northwest Iowa teams to start the season. In Class 1A Gehlen and Akron Westfield are ranked #14 and #15 respectively. In 2A Cherokee is ranked #4. The 3A poll includes Okoboji in the #13 spot. In 4A LeMars opens at #7 with Heelan #10.
