Fremont, Nebraska — The Northwestern College baseball team will head to Fremont, Neb., to face the Midland Warriors on Friday, April 23rd with games scheduled to start at 4 / 6pm. The teams will then switch venues as the Raiders will host the Warriors in Orange City on Saturday, April 24th, also at 4 / 6pm.
The Northwestern College baseball team enters the four game series in seventh place in the GPAC, with a conference record of 8-12, and an overall record of 15-21. The Raiders played Concordia in a four games series last weekend, coming out with one victory, winning the last game in 11 innings, 4-1. The Midland University Warriors are in ninth place in the GPAC, with a 7-13 conference record and an overall record of 18-23. Midland split with Morningside in a four game series last weekend.
The Raiders trail in the all-time rivalry against Midland, 38-45, dating all the way back to 1992. The Raiders have been dominate as of late, however, winning eight of their last eleven meetings. Northwestern is looking to extend a three game winning streak against the Warriors.
