Raider Softball To Begin 2021 Season Against Viterbo

Austin, Minnesota — The Northwestern College softball team will make its 2021 season debut this weekend when they play Viterbo (Wis.) for a doubleheader at the Packer Dome in Austin, Minn. First pitch of game one is scheduled for 3pm.

Northwestern has not played a regulation game for nearly 11 months, since a 10-2 win against the University of St.Francis (Ill.) in Tucson, Ariz. The rest of the 2020 season was called off due to COVID.

Northwestern is 7-0 all-time against Viterbo, dating back to the 2000 season. Last year, the Raiders earned a 6-2 victory in the final game of the Kelly Laas Memorial Classic played in St.Cloud, Minn.
