The NCC Thunder Sports Shooting team delivered a strong performance against Ellsworth Community College, securing a decisive victory with a team score of 440 to Ellsworth’s 124.

October 4, 2024: Men’s Soccer vs. Northeast Community College, Norfolk, Nebraska
The Thunder men’s soccer team had a challenging match against Northeast Community College, conceding three goals in each half for a final score of 6-0. Kais Mahdi had a long shot on goal, but the Thunder had trouble really getting anything going on offense.

October 5, 2024: Women’s Soccer at Scott Community College, Davenport, Iowa
In a dramatic finish, Sophia Schwappach scored a late equalizer to secure a 1-1 draw for the Thunder women’s soccer team. Scott took the early lead, but NCC maintained its focus and continued to push forward until Schwappach’s last-minute goal tied the match.

The NCC Thunder soccer teams faced Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) from Rosemount, Minnesota, at Orab Field in Sheldon in two tightly contested matches.

October 7, 2024: Men’s Soccer vs. Dakota County Technical College DCTC 4, NCC Thunder 2
Jose Martinez opened the scoring for NCC, followed by a goal from Kais Mahdi after capitalizing on a goalkeeper error, giving the Thunder a 2-1 lead going into halftime. However, DCTC scored twice in the second half and added a late goal after NCC pulled Charlie Prtenjaca from the net for a strategic advantage, resulting in a 4-2 loss.

October 7, 20204: Women’s Soccer vs. Dakota County Technical College NCC Thunder 3, DCTC 3
The Thunder women showcased resilience, with Sophia Schwappach scoring twice, one assisted by Bailey Koyle, and another following a defensive mistake. Jenna Pringnitz added a goal for NCC, assisted by Ana Reyna with a header. That said, the match was a 3-3 draw.
