Red Raiders Sign Sioux Center Lineman

Northwestern logoOrange City, Iowa — Preston Rhodes has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College.

Rhodes is a 6’1”, 265-pound offensive/defensive lineman who played three years for Sioux Center High School. Rhodes was part an offense that totaled nearly 3,000 yards, averaging 5.5 yards per play, and scored 28 touchdowns. He helped lead the Warriors to a 5-4 overall record. Rhodes plans to major in history education at Northwestern and is the son of Tonia.

“Preston is an outstanding addition to our offensive line,” said Northwestern head coach Matt McCarty. “He comes from a very good high school program and has been well coached. Preston is a strong, physical player whom we are excited to work with over the next four years.”
