Pizza Ranch and the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) have recently announced that Reid Geerdes Head Girls’ Basketball Coach at George-Little Rock has been selected to coach the 2026 Pizza Ranch IBCA All-Star team.
Coach Geerdes will be joined by co-coach Kasey Krager of Sioux Central to lead the Northwest team against three other teams from around the state of Iowa.
There are four regions in the state of Iowa: NW / NE / SW / SE. Each class selects two coaches and 12 players to represent their class. Four alternate players are also selected in case of conflicts.
Games will be held March 28th, 2026, at Dallas Center-Grimes High school in Grimes. First-round games kick off at 10:45 a.m. for the girls and 12:00 p.m. for the boys. Championship and Consolation games will commence at 2:45 p.m. for the girls and 4:00 p.m. for the boys.
