Sampson Joins Dordt Dance And Cheer

Natasha Sampson, a senior at MOC FV High School, has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender dance and cheer programs.

“I am very excited Natasha has decided to attend Dordt next year and be a part of both the cheer and dance teams. I have had the opportunity to teach Natasha at the dance studio for several years and I can’t wait to continue working her on the collegiate level. Natasha has a lot of experience both cheer and dance and has been involved in numerous other school activities and I know she will be a great fit for both the cheer and dance teams next year,” said Dordt cheer and dance coach Mel Knobloch.

Sampson has been a dance team member at MOC FV for four years and has studied dance for 15 years at Robin’s School of Dance and is a seven-year member of Leaps of Faith. She has served as cheer co-captain for two years has been on both the football and basketball cheer programs. Sampson is also a member of the National Honor Society.

“I chose Dordt because I love the atmosphere and community. I could see God working through everyone that I met at Dordt. Everyone made me feel welcome. I also wanted to continue my cheer and dance careers at Dordt with Coach Mel,” said Sampson.

Natasha is the daughter of Brent and Teresa Sampson of Orange City, Iowa. She plans to study Education at Dordt.
