Schlumbohm Signs With NWC Basketball

Sutton Schlumbohm, a senior guard from Central Lyon High School in Rock Rapids, Iowa announced Friday, December 20 that she will be continuing her academic and basketball career at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa next fall.

Throughout her high school career, Sutton has participated in volleyball, basketball, and track. She has participated in state track her sophomore and junior year and was a part of the state champion 4×200 relay last year.

Sutton is a 4 year letter winner for the Lions. Her career totals include 132 steals, 164 assists, 279 rebounds, and she is currently 10th in Central Lyon’s history for points in a career with 613. She received 1st team all-Siouxland conference honors as a sophomore and as a junior last season was on the 2nd team.

Along with excelling in the classroom, Sutton is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the International Club.
