Sheldon, Iowa – The Sheldon Esports team of Super Smash Brothers finished the regular season with an undefeated record and they look ahead to postseason action.
The Orabs gave previously undefeated Esherville-Lincoln Central their first loss of the season in a nailbiter that went into overtime twice. The first game was a tie 10-10, and after the tiebreaker rematches, Sheldon finished with the 13-11 victory.
The Midgets responded and won game two 12-10. The third set was also a tie at 10-10, before the game ended 13-11 in favor of the Sheldon Orabs to close the contest.
A standout performance was made by Ethan Vogelaar who won one of his battles 3-0.
