Knights of Columbus Spelling Bee Winners
The Sheldon Knights of Columbus held their annual youth Spelling Bee Contest on January 27 at the Village Northwest Unlimited Wansink Center. The following students were recognized for their efforts.
4th grade 1st place Hayden Honermann
5th grade 1st place Eli Becker
6th grade 1st place Kenzie McCuddin
6th grade 2nd place Boden Katts
7th grade 1st place Gavin Hanson
All students qualified for the Regional Spelling Bee held in Milford on February 4. Eli Becker finished first and Kenzie McCuddin finished third, and both qualified for the Knights of Columbus State Spelling Bee, which will take place in Ames on Sunday March 2 at 1:00 pm.

The Sheldon Knights of Columbus held their annual youth Free Throw Contest on January 27 at the Village Northwest Unlimited Wansink Center. The following students were recognized for their efforts.

Boys, age 11–1st Place Eli Becker

Those individuals finishing first in their division will advance on to the District Free Throw Contest which will be held on February 18 at 12:00 pm at the Village Northwest Unlimited Wansink Center.
