(Volleyballs - KIWA Staff Photo)Northwest Iowa — Regional championships are on the line Tuesday night for Classes 3A and 4A, with state tournament berths up for grabs across Iowa.
Our broadcast coverage features the Class 3A Region 1 Championship between Western Christian and Treynor on KIWA FM 105.3. Pregame coverage begins at 6:50 p.m., with opening serve set for 7 p.m. Larry Ahrens and Sam Heyn will have the call from Western Christian High School. Listen live on the air or stream the match at kiwaradio.com.
Northwest Iowa teams remain well represented in the regional finals. Western Christian, MOC-Floyd Valley, Unity Christian, and Cherokee are all one win away from a berth in the Class 3A State Tournament. Should all four advance, northwest Iowa would account for half of the eight-team Class 3A state field. Sioux Center is also hosting a Class 4A regional championship match tonight.
