The Iowa football playoff semifinals began Wednesday with the 8 Player semis. Three area teams have made the semi including Remsen St Mary’s in the 8 player field. West Sioux made the cut in 1A joined by Central Lyon George Little Rock in Class 2A.

West Sioux will play as the #2 seed in Class 1A at 1:00 on Friday. They’ll go against #3 seed Underwood. Central Lyon George Little Rock will be in action Saturday at 1:00 as the #2 seed in Class 2A. Their opponents will be #3 seed OABCIG.
