Fort Dodge — The State Cross Country meets were run in all classes at Fort Dodge Saturday. Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge played host to this years event.
In the 2A boys team competition Unity finished second to Garner Hayfield Ventura 59-79.
Individually Gable Sieperda was 6th. Unity had two runners in the top 15 with Jacob Vander Plaats 7th and Schuyler Malenke 9th. Western’s Tristan Hulstein ran to a 10th place finish.
In the Class 2A girls competition Unity finished 6th in the team totals at 192. Cascade of West Dubuque won the title with 76 points.
In the Class 1A boys competition Trinity Christian finished 9th as a team with 210 team points. Nodaway Valley won the title with 61 points.
