The Girls State Basketball Tournament moved into the Semifinal round Thursday in Des Moines. Class 5A made up the morning session with the afternoon session featuring the 3A Semis. Sioux Center downed Solon in the 3:15 contest to move on to the title game. The evening session decided the championship pairing in 4A.
