It’s Championship Saturday at the State Wrestling Tournament in Des Moines. The morning session gets underway at 9:00 am and runs through 2:15.
The order of the day will be the Class 2A, 3A and 1A Consolation Semifinals and Finals. Consolation Semifinal matches will be wrestled to completion with no break between classes. Consolation Finals will be decided with the 7th place matches in all classes followed by 5th place matches in all classes. Then its the 5th place matches in all classes followed by the 3rd place matches in all classes.
This years tournament concludes Saturday evening with the IWCOA, IHSADA and IHSAA awards at 5:15 followed by the Grand March and Finals for all classes beginning at 5:30. For results click on the link below. Then hover over results then click “Final Results“.
