State Wrestling Day 1 Results

The Iowa State individual wrestling tournament opened Thursday morning at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. One again a large contingent of area wrestlers have earned their way to the state tournament.

The tournament began with Class 2A wrestling in the morning session from 9:00 till noon.   The opening session included the first round and first round of consolations.
