Cedar Falls, Iowa (RI) – UNI mens basketball coach Ben Jacobson feels added toughness has his team in the thick of the Missouri Valley Conference race.
After rallying for a win over Illinois State the Panthers are 10-4 in the league race and trail Valley leader Drake by two games. They take a three game winning streak into Tuesday night’s game at home against Indiana State.
Indiana State is coming off an overtime loss at Drake.
Jacobson says the Panthers are not focused on the standings right now.
The Sycamores enter Tuesday night’s game with a Valley record of 6-8.
