Northern Iowa star A.J. Green has made himself eligible for the NBA Draft.
UNI Athletic officials released a statement that the 6′ 4″ sophomore from Cedar Falls will proceed through the draft process without an agent, therefore maintaining his NCAA eligibility. This past season Green averaged just under 20 points per game on 42% shooting from the field. He shot 40% from three point range and made 92% of his free throws. Green helped lead UNI to the regular season title and a 25-6 record. He was named the Valley’s player of the year.
