Van Den Berg Chooses Northwestern

Kaylee Van Den Berg (Sioux Center, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her dance career at Northwestern College next fall.

Van Den Berg competes for both Sioux Center High School and Robin’s School of Dance. Van Den Berg finished as the third runner-up at the 2018 Iowa State Dance and Drill Team Association (ISDTA) after placing in the top 12 in 2017. She accounted for the highest overall score at the DANZA competition and has been the team captain for Sioux Center the last two years. An honor roll student, Van Den Berg plans to study secondary education at Northwestern.

“We are extremely excited to have Kaylee join us in the fall,” said Northwestern Head Coach Taylor Nygren. “She comes with an extraordinary dance background that will benefit our team. With her strong leadership skills, we look forward to seeing what all she will accomplish here at Northwestern.”
