West Lyon alum and Iowa special teams coordinator LeVar Woods on the proposed NCAA roster limit

Iowa City, Iowa (RI) – If new NCAA roster limits are implemented it could have a big impact on special teams.

A proposed roster limit of 105 players under the NCAA-House settlement is in limbo right now, but could be in place for the start of fall camp. Iowa special teams coordinator and West Lyon alum LeVar Woods.

Woods on how he sees roster make up changing.

Woods says it will become difficult to keep players on the roster just because they can help on special teams.

The Hawkeyes open next season at home on August 30th against the Univesity of Albany.
