Hawarden, Iowa — West Sioux standout Kade Lynott announced on Sunday that he has committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Iowa State .
Lynott, a 6′ 1″ 195 lbs running back/wide receiver was the favorite target for other Iowa State commit Hunter Dekkers. Lynott had 643 yards on the ground along with 17 touchdowns, and 1,594 yard receiving to go along with another 16 touchdowns. Lynott also was the team leader in tackles with 80 total tackles.
Lynott helped the Falcons win the state football championship in Class 1A in 2018, and a state football semifinal appearance in 2019.
A multi-sport athlete, Lynott is averaging 9 points a game this basketball season, and batted a season average of .354 this past baseball season.
