Northwest Iowa — Three area teams open play Wednesday at the State Volleyball Tournament in Cedar Rapids.
In Class 2A top ranked Western Christian with a 40-5 record opens against 23-6 Council Bluffs St Albert at 2pm. Also at 2:00 second ranked Unity Christian at 36-4 will begin tournament play against 30-3 Sumner Fredricksburg. With both matches taking place at the same time we’ll bring you the Western match with pregame at 1:50 and first serve at 2:00.
In the evening session in Class 1A top ranked Central Lyon at 32-5 opens with 29-10 LeMars Gehlen. Pregame begins at 7:50 with first serve at 8:00. We’ll stream both the Western and Central Lyon matches from the website at www.kiwaradio.com.
