Orange City, Iowa — Alex Zoelle has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College.
Zoelle is a 5’9”, 185-pound running back and linebacker who played three years for Sheldon High School. Zoelle was named first team all-district after recording 58 solo tackles, 66 total stops as a senior. On offense, he rushed for 364 yards and a team-leading seven touchdowns. Zoelle is the son of Tony and Sara.
“We are excited about signing another outstanding player from northwest Iowa,” said Northwestern head coach Matt McCarty. “Alex is a tough, competitive player who had a very good high school career. We look forward to watching Alex play for us over the next four years.”
