Zylstra is a three-time all-conference pick, earning first team honors after averaging 16 points, nearly six rebounds and four assists her senior year. She finished her Comets career with a school record 295 assists to go with 1,071 points and 430 rebounds. Zylstra helped lead the Comets to a 15-8 overall record and regional final appearance. An all-state selection in both volleyball and softball as well, Zylstra is a member of both the honor roll and National Honor Society. “Brooke is a great fit for Northwestern College and our women’s basketball program,” said Northwestern Head Coach Chris Yaw. “Brooke’s commitment to high character and to her faith, her focus and hard work in the classroom and her commitment to be the best she can be on the court represent the core values of our program. She has experienced success in multiple sports throughout high school and is a strong athlete. Brooke’s ability to see the floor and score the basketball will fit well into our style of play.”
