Katie lives in beautiful Sheldon but grew up in the South O’Brien district where she graduated in 2007. She later went to NCC for Business Management and worked at Bubbles and Bee Kleen Dry Cleaning, where she learned hands on everything she needed from Mark and Jeri Postma. Soon after that she started her long career as the “Wireless Guru” for Northwest Iowa and South Dakota markets working for CellOnly Verizon in many different roles in Sales, Marketing, and Leadership. Working for CellOnly Verizon, she became a Rapport Master Graduate in Leadership. One of her proudest accomplishments.
Katie’s biggest and proudest accomplishments are her two incredible daughters, Addison and Audrey Huffman. Who keeps her on her toes because they both take after their mother’s amazing personality. Addison is a passionate bowler who is working hard on getting that perfect game. Audrey is the gymnast who will do cartwheels around you at any opportunity she gets. Watch out, she will make you dizzy!
In Katie’s spare time, she works hard on her social media platforms where she has over 101,000 followers and growing. She is an internet Music Enthusiast where she breaks down the best in music and anything Foo Fighters (Katie is a HUGE Dave Grohl fan). In the summertime you can catch Katie at a concert and all the music festivals. In the fall you can catch her at a football game. She is a passionate Iowa Hawkeyes and Minnesota Vikings fan.
