Cattle, Farmers Coping With Dry Pastures

Orange City, Iowa — Even though parts of the area have received some recent rainfall, our area remains somewhat dry, and that is raising a concern among farmers. According to the latest U.S. drought monitor information, all of the four northwest Iowa counties are abnormally dry, with over half of the area in what is called “moderate drought.”
