Hospers Woman’s Vehicle Damage After Deer Accident

sioux county sheriff emblemBoyden, Iowa — A Hospers Woman hit a deer on the roadway on Thursday, November 12th near Boyden.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 11:57 pm on Thursday, 54-year-old Julie Smith of Hospers was driving a 2013 Kia Sol southbound on Kingbird Avenue, six miles south of Boyden. According to the report, she struck a deer on the roadway.

The Kia received $6000 damage.

No injuries were reported
