Two Injured In Collision Near Primghar

Primghar, Iowa — Two Paullina residents were injured after colliding at an intersection south of Primghar on Friday, May 5th.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 5:00 pm on Friday, 40-year-old Harly Jeltema of Paullina was driving a 2000 Chevy S10  pickyp northbound on Sorrell Avenue, south of Primghar. Thirty-two-year-old Adam Hibbing of Paullina was driving a 2011 Ford F-350 westbound on 440th Street. According to the report, Jeltema did not yield to Hibbing, who was on the right at an uncontrolled intersection, and both trucks collided in the intersection.

Damage to Jeltema’s S10 was estimated at $8-thousand damage, whith Hibbing’s Ford sustaining as estimated $18-thousand in damage.

Both drivers received minor injuries but declined further medical treatment.
