Boyden, Iowa — Two vehicles were damaged in an accident near Boyden on Monday, November 20th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that just before 8:45 am on Monday, 19-year-old Jonathan Siemonsma of Sioux Center was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu eastbound on Highway 18, one mile west of Boyden. Twenty-two-year-old Justin Pollema of Boyden was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on Highway 18, behind Siemonsma. According to the report, Siemonsma slowed for a turning vehicle and Pollema struck Siemonsma.
The Malibu received $7,000 damage; the Silverado received $2,000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
