Orange City, Iowa — Two people from Orange City were arrested recently after a traffic stop.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that their deputies arrested 41-year-old Luis Jimenez and 37-year-old
Paola Jimenez of Orange City. The arrests stemmed from a traffic stop that occurred in Orange City.
Upon further investigation the deputy determined Luis’ driver’s license was suspended. The deputy says Paola Jimenez, a passenger in the vehicle, provided a false name regarding an unrelated investigation.
Luis was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and cited on a charge of no insurance. Paola was arrested and charged with obstructing prosecution, three counts of providing false identification and was cited on a charge of permitting an unauthorized person to operate a motor vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office reports the Orange City Police Department assisted them.
