Sheldon Man Rolls Vehicle Into Creek

sioux county sheriff emblemHospers, Iowa — A Sheldon man’s vehicle rolled and went into a creek on Sunday, October 11th near Hospers.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 11:48 they investigated an accident on 370th Street, three miles north of Hospers. After further investigation, the accident happened around 3:00 AM. 26-year-old George Beyer of Sheldon was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on 370th Street. According to the report, Beyer lost control of the pickup, struck a bridge guardrail, left the roadway, rolled and entered a creek below the bridge.

The Chevrolet received $13,000 damage.

No injuries were reported.
