Sibley, Iowa — A Sibley man is jailed following a fight early Thanksgiving morning in Sibley.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 1:00 am Thursday, an Osceola County Deputy arrested 24-year old Olegario Aguilar Gomez of Sibley, for allegedly assaulting an individual which resulted in bodily injury, a serious misdemeanor. Deputies say Aguilar Gomez was booked into the Osceola County Jail where, at last report, he was being held on a $1000 bond.
Authorities say the arrest stemmed from a report of a fight in an apartment complex in Sibley.
