Alton, Iowa — An Okoboji man’s vehicle was damaged in an accident on Monday, December 19th near Alton.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 11:28 am on Monday, 91-year-old John Walston of Okoboji was driving a 2012 Ford Fusion southbound on Highway 60, one mile south of Alton. According to the report, Walston lost control of the vehicle and entered the median.
The Ford received $2,500 damage.
No injuries were reported.
