Over $2000 In Tools Reported Stolen

sheldon police pd car door logoSheldon, Iowa — Over $2000 worth of tools are missing from a work site in Sheldon, and the Sheldon Police are looking for clues.

According to the Sheldon Police Department, they took a report that sometime between 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14th and 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16th, several tools were stolen from a site on 11th Street.

Reported stolen from the site were a jigsaw, a circular saw, a radio, five batteries, three chargers, two impact drills, a larger drill, a mixer drill with a spade mixer, a reciprocating saw, a multi-purpose saw, a sheet rock cut-out tool, and a toolbox, all DeWalt brand. The tools and accessories were valued at a combined total of $2,390.
