Sheldon, Iowa — Those who would like to pray for schools and students will have an opportunity this Thursday in Sheldon.
The Community Prayer Event is scheduled for Thursday evening, September 7th at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Paul Van Maaren of the Sheldon First Reformed Church says the event is sponsored by the Sheldon Ministerial Association.
He says the event will start with the brief time of worship at 7 p.m. Thursday night at the Sheldon High School Auditorium.
The Ministerial Association says they hope you will join them in praying “for students, teachers, support staff and administrators; for a great learning environment, for their well-being, for kindness to flourish, for mutual respect and willingness to serve one another in love.”
